Here’s the fourth installment of the Mashup Getdown titled, “American Hustlers“. “American Hustle” mashed up with songs about hustlers, hustling, and the hustle.
I had really high hopes for this one – actually I had really high hopes for this whole series, but it just never came together like I thought it would. Ya live and ya learn. I should’ve cut the cord / pulled the plug on this before the first one got published, but I held out hope things would get better and they didn’t.
I really wanted to do “12 Years a Slave 4 U”, which mashes ’12 Years a Slave; with Britney Spears’ ‘Slave 4 U’, but that didn’t fly. I have dozens of more ideas, but they’ll never see the light of day, unless an affordable editor falls in my lap. If you know anyone, holler.
