Hard Times of RJ Berger is Like "Hung" For Kids!

Just saw this in my morning newsletter from Cynopsis. MTV is developing the following series…

“Hard Times – a coming of age series about the world of unpopular 15-year old RJ Berger, whose major anatomical asset is revealed in front of the whole school, orbiting him to fame and new-found confidence.”

How original and fresh! The two adjectives e’erybody always uses when describing MTV content.

Come to think of it, that sounds an awful lot like the premise of HBO’s new series, “Hung“:

“Desperate times call for desperate measures and Ray Drecker’s situation couldn’t be much tougher. The former high school sports legend turned middle-aged high school basketball coach is divorced and struggling to provide for his kids when his already run-down house catches fire. Looking to take on a second job, Ray decides to exploit his best asset in a last-ditch attempt to change his fortunes.”

I know, why don’t we have a cross-over episode where RJ Berger swordfights Ray Drecker? After the swordfight, they accept each other’s differences (and/or reach a commonplace aka their wangs) and play tummy sticks! Ratings bonanza, people! Or should I say ratings boneranza! Hey to the oh!

By the way, when do we get to see the female version of this premise? Gina was just a down and out nail salon technician when one day she woke up with a pair of exquisite breasts, gaining the adoration of friends, family, and fans. I guess that’s the premise of every porn star’s career. Ne’ermind.
