World War Z-Trip Mashup Will Make Your Teeth Chatter

World War Z meets DJ Z-Trip in the second installment of “The Mashup Getdown”.

World War Z is a 2013 British-American apocalyptic film directed by Marc Forster. The screenplay by Matthew Michael Carnahan is based on the 2006 novel of the same name by Max Brooks (yes, Mel Brooks’ son). The film stars Brad Pitt as Gerry Lane, a former United Nations investigator who must travel the world to find a way to stop a zombie-like pandemic. If his middle name is “Atric”, I might guffaw.

Zach Sciacca, better known as Z-Trip, is an DJ and producer who is best known as a pioneer of the mashup movement and an award-winning global DJ. He was the 2009 recipient of the “America’s Best DJ Award” among others.

Z-Trip songs featured in this mashup are “Listen to the DJ” and “Revolution” released by Hollywood Records and “Nirvana Lounge Act Remix” released on the soundtrack for EA’s “Skate”. The world needs more of his work and work like it. More zombies? Not so much.
