Triangle of Sadness premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on 21 May 2022,[15] and on 28 May won the festival’s Palme d’Or. Received an 8-minute standing ovation at Cannes Film Festival.
The movie also received three nominations at the 95th Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.
